Clare Bottle is the Chief Executive Officer of the UK Warehousing Association (UKWA), representing over 1,000 member companies operating warehouses across the UK and Ireland. With more than 30 years in logistics, Clare has held roles including Associate Director of Warehousing at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners and National Logistics Manager for Lafarge Tarmac.
In her tenure at UKWA, Clare has championed sustainability and diversity, notably initiating the 'Year of Warehousing' in 2024, which involved visiting 80 warehouses nationwide to mark UKWA's 80th anniversary.
Clare's leadership has earned her several accolades, including The Sir Robert Lawrence Award from the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) for outstanding contribution to the logistics profession, and the Outstanding Leadership Award from the Trade Association Forum (TAF).She was also featured in TAF's 2024 Powerlist of inspirational women in trade associations. In 2025, Clare was honoured by being named in the WiTA Powerlist, recognising her as one of the most influential women in trade associations.
Beyond UKWA, Clare serves as
Vice-Chair of Women in Logistics UK and has been a trustee for both CILT and Transaid, UKWA's nominated charity.
